How to make crispy and delicious aloo tikki? Full Recipe

Ingredients:

4 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
1 onion, finely chopped
1 green chili, finely chopped
2 tablespoon Chatpate Chhop
1/2 teaspoon black salt
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
Salt to taste
5 tablespoons corn flour
Oil for shallow frying
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, chopped onion, green chili, ginger paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder, salt, and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.

Add corn flour to the mixture and knead until it forms a smooth dough.

Divide the mixture into equal-sized balls and flatten them into patties.

Heat oil in a shallow frying pan over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties in the pan and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy on both sides. Be sure not to overcrowd the pan and fry the patties in batches if necessary.

Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a paper towel to remove any excess oil.

Serve hot with tamarind chutney, black salt, lemon juice, and Chatpate Chhop. Garnish with some more chopped coriander leaves.

Enjoy your crispy and delicious Aloo Tikki!

Note: You can also add some boiled green peas or grated carrots to the mixture for additional flavor and nutrition. Additionally, if you want to make the tikki even crispier, you can dip them in beaten egg before frying.
